All CEM cutters of the MP series can be configured with a cutting assembly of 2 or 3 blades. The 3-blade assembly allows you to remove a strip with a constant thickness with each cut (1/4” – 1/6” – 1/8” – 7.8 mm). This is needed to obtain from the forms the desired finished size.

The blades and their moving parts are enclosed in a compact assembly that can be dismantled and re-assembled very quickly and need no timing operations.

The additional unit means downtimes are kept to a minimum both for maintenance as well as (and especially) for changing from 2 to 3 blades and vice versa.
